Top Loaders are great! They're an awesome storage option for those cards that are that little bit extra special or even as a grading substitute, but there's also been one persistent issue – how do you store them?
Palms Off Gaming was one of the first (if not the first) companies to produce a Top Loader binder. Originally sporting an ultra durable matte page finish to the pockets, the Top Loader binder has consistently been a staple in the POG range. With improvements including clear page finish, increased colour range, and extended capacity have seen it become the go-to solution for Top Loader loving collectors.
However, what if you're not a binder kinda person? Well, while POG doesn't currently have any product specifically purpose built for Top Loader storage other than our Top Loader Binder, we do often suggest, and have received good feedback for, using a small Graded Card Case for non-binder Top Loader storage.
As the name would suggest, the Graded Card Case was designed with keeping graded card (PSA, BGS, and similar sized) slabs safe in mind. Boasting a soft velvet interior for a scratch free environment, strong and secure magnetic closure, and all topped off with sturdy construction have made it a stalwart in many a impressive collection. These cases are also great for Top Loaders for the very same reasons their great for graded cards, with the simple caveat that Top Loaders are shorter than graded cards therefore may jiggle around some more in the case. But, if your case is being shaken so hard as to damage the cards inside, you may have bigger issues at play here.
We often see people asking if top loaders will fit our Genesis Deck Boxes. While they do appear at first glance to be a good option for top loaders, they will not fit. 35Pt top loaders will not fit, not even if you try to squish them in. This and the reasons above are why we recommend the Graded Card Cases as an alternative to binder storage for your Top Loaders.
