About the Role
As a Warehouse Team Member / Pick Packer, you will support the day-to-day operation of the Palms Off Gaming warehouse. Your main focus will be accurately picking products, packing orders, checking items before dispatch, restocking shelves, assisting with incoming stock, and helping maintain a clean and safe workspace.
This is a part-time role based at our Thomastown warehouse. The role may suit someone looking for regular part-time work in a growing business, with an interest in gaming, trading cards, tabletop products, retail, warehouse operations, or fulfilment.
Key Responsibilities
Pick Packing & Order Fulfilment
- Pick customer orders accurately using order sheets, systems, or instructions.
- Pack orders carefully to protect products during storage and transport.
- Check product names, quantities, variants, and condition before dispatch.
- Label and prepare orders for shipping, courier pickup, or collection.
- Report order issues, stock discrepancies, damaged items, or missing products to management.
- Help ensure orders are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Stock Handling & Warehouse Support
- Assist with receiving, unpacking, sorting, and putting away incoming stock.
- Replenish shelves and maintain organised product locations.
- Help with stock counts, inventory checks, and general warehouse organisation.
- Keep picking areas, packing benches, aisles, and storage areas clean and clear.
- Assist other team members with reasonable warehouse tasks when required.
Safety & Workplace Standards
- Follow safe manual handling practices when lifting, moving, or carrying items.
- Use mechanical aids where appropriate for heavier items.
- Wear required PPE, such as high-visibility clothing or safety footwear, where directed.
- Report hazards, spills, incidents, injuries, or near misses to management promptly.
- Only use forklifts, pallet jacks, or warehouse equipment if trained, authorised, and licensed where required.

- Previous pick packing, warehouse, retail, fulfilment, dispatch, or stock handling experience.
- Interest in trading cards, tabletop gaming, hobby products, or gaming retail.
- Experience using order systems, scanners, shipping platforms, or inventory tools.
- Forklift licence or pallet jack experience, where relevant.
- Availability during busy trading periods or product release periods.
